Sharjah Ladies Club recently organised a workshop on using makeup products made from safe, natural ingredients to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The workshop’s aim was to encourage women to learn about health-conscious products that minimise the risk of cancer.
Beauty expert Jane iredale led the workshop and gave a variety of makeup application tips and techniques. She also presented demos on skincare and beauty products derived from mineral, skin-friendly ingredients.
Participants then got the chance to have trial make up by the Jane iredale expert and had a session of Questions and answers.They said that the training workshop provided them with useful tips on makeup applicastions and in choosing the right make up for their skin.
Sharjah Ladies Club aims to provide a suitable environment for women to strengthen their role in the development of their community. The club also aims to improve services and facilities provided for women and their children, thus creating an atmosphere of rest and relaxation where they can enjoy themselves and learn.
The club organises many cultural, art, entertainment, sports, and health activities, as well as various related events designed for women and their children throughout the year in an effort to enhance women’s participation in shaping a progressive society.
