"And So The Story Began" - a drawings and prints exhibition by Radhika Hamlai, opened at Bait Al Zubair under the auspices of H.H. Sayyid Tarik Bin Shabib Al Said.
Radhika is a contemporary artist who has been actively participating in various workshops and exhibitions alongside renowned artists all over the GCC.
A member of the Omani Society of Fine Arts, Bombay Art Society and Artists Center in Mumbai, she has received awards for painting and calligraphy since 2007. Her private collections are displayed in art museums in Oman, around the GCC, Switzerland, Australia, India and London.
"And So The Story Began"- Drawings and Mono prints exhibition is a display of Radhika's brilliant artworks imbued with emotional content that articulates a range of styles that evolve from semi-figurative to abstract.
Trying to explore the depth of the human psyche through her drawings, she uses textile, light, color values, movement, lines, and forms. Her works are an underlying effort to define human identities and to understand life, people and the environment. Radhika's art is a result of her quest through self expression depicting a message of who we really are as a person and where do we truly belong as we journey through our lives.
Radhika Hamlai's artworks will be on display at Bait Al Dalaleel in Bait Al Zubair until 4 May2017
