Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Dr. Joma’a bin Ahmed Al Ka’abi has asserted that the ministry’s services and projects aim to meet the expectations of the citizens, upgrade their standards of living and achieve sustainable development. Speaking as he paid an inspection visit to the houses included in the cities and villages’ development project “Tarmeem” or “Rebuilding”, Al Ka’abi said that the scheme aims to provide the basic needs of the citizens, in line with the directives of the wise leadership. “Upon directives from His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman AL Khalifa, the Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry has carried out many development projects for the sake of upgrading the citizens’ standards of living,” adding that “Tarmeem” project provides support for low income citizens across the kingdom through repairing or rebuilding their dilapidated houses.
