A hashtag offering greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, has gone viral on different social media platforms.
Hours after the Arabic language hashtag was posted, thousands of people reacted by wishing Sheikh Mohamed and praising his mild manner, humility and love for his country and his people.
A video that was posted showing Sheikh Mohamed escorting a tribal chief to his car, drew several comments. People said the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founded the UAE on the values of compassion and kindness, and President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has followed the same path.
Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi tweeted, ‘In this video, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan gives a lesson on the leader's humility and how he managed as a leader, to win hearts before minds.’ Jamal Al Jaberi commented, ‘The Sheikh of humanity and modesty.’ Dr. Saleh Abdul Kareem said he was moved by the footage of Sheikh Mohamed accompanying the old man, who was his father's friend.
Abdullah Al Jasmi wrote, ‘We are lucky to have you as a leader Bu Khalid,’ referring to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed by his nickname. Khalifa Al Kaabi noted, ‘He who respect the elders is great.’ A tweet by Ghadat Al Bahrain reads, ‘Look at the humility of Sheikh Mohamed.’ Mohammed Saoud said, ‘Sheikh Mohamed inherited kindness, honesty and sincerity from his father; the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.’
