Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa
Manama - Muslimchronicle

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed that the security of the nation should be the ultimate goal for everyone.

There may divergent opinions about anything except for the security of the nation on which there is no room for difference, he said.

"The multiple events in the Arab world are dangerous and the challenges facing the region are serious, particularly terrorism. There will be no laxity in dealing with anything that may affect security or is meant to spread panic among the secure citizens or impede the development process," HRH Premier affirmed.

The Premier stressed the importance of spreading awareness on the nature of those dangers, as well as on the purposes of those seeking to spread chaos and divide among societies.

HRH Premier saluted the Bahraini people for its national unity, social cohesion and high sense of responsibility thanks to which attempts to subvert the nation’s security and stability have been thwarted.

"The Kingdom of Bahrain is small in size, but big in its achievements and dedication of its people, and this is a source of pride," he said.

The Prime Minister made the statements while receiving a number of officials and citizens, with whom he reviewed local, regional and global issues.

HRH Premier asserted that the world is heading towards a period of unlimited scientific and technological development, noting that such development should be adapted to serve humanity and consolidate everything that may contribute to promoting peace and security, which, he said, strengthens the ability of countries and peoples to achieve their aspirations at the level of development.

HRH Premier lauded the Bahraini people’s loyalty and dedication in serving the homeland so as to enhance its progress and prosperity.

"We are proud of our nation’s deep-rooted history and people with a rich record of leadership and giving in various fields. We will continue doing all what we can in the fields of development, security and stability," he said.

HRH the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of maintaining the values of social rapprochement and communication, given their role in cementing national unity and social cohesion, noting that such values have always been and continue to bear witness to the Bahraini people’s authenticity and civilisation.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of preserving the kingdom’s rich heritage and history through informing the future generations about their country’s civilisational and cultural legacy, and through maintaining the historical names of regions that reflect the kingdom’s civilisation and culture.

HRH Premier called for the need for focus on the existing projects and meaningful initiatives so as to be catalysts for more giving that meets the needs of the citizens nationwide.
