Preparations have been afoot to implement the “Khalifa Project in World Languages,” on the 41st National Day Anniversary of the UAE, which corresponds with Dec. 2, 2012. The national project, a portal heritage, and a heritage gate are launched by The Sultan Bin Zayed\'s Culture and Media Centre in cooperation with the Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, UAE University and the Sheikh Khalifa Fund to support Youth Projects. The over 25-metre heritage gate, to be built on a prominent location in Abu Dhabi, will carry Sheikh Khalifa’s name in over 200 languages. Habib Yusuf Al Sayigh, Director General of the Centre, said the Khalifa Project in World Languages is a gesture of gratitude to the country and its leader, President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, indicating that the project, which will be launched on the 41st national day anniversary, “reflects a genuine love to Sheikh Khalifa from Emiratis and world peoples. It aims at expressing allegiance to the leader through writing his name in all languages of the world, as well as highlighting the UAE culture and national identity.\" The Khalifa Project in Languages of the world also includes the electronic encyclopaedia “Khalifa in languages of the world,” which is a high-tech website including a biography of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the UAE’s achievements translated in different languages of the world.
