The Prosecutor General of the Sultanate of Oman, Hussein bin Ali Al-Hilali, Saturday arrived in Khartoum on a five-day visit.
He was received at Khartoum Airport by the Attorney General, Omer Ahmed Mohamed, and senior officials at the Public Prosecution.
The Omani official's visit is aimed for getting informed on the Sudanese Public Prosecution's experiment, the exchange of experiences and visits in this field as well as joint training between the prosecutors in the two countries.
Meanwhile, the Attorney General, Omer Mohamed Ahmed, has welcomed the visit of the Omani Prosecutor General, describing his visit as an important one for cementing the bilateral relations in the legal field and the exchange of experiences.
He appreciated the firm relations between Sudan and the Sultanate of Oman in all domains.
The visiting Omani Attorney General is due to meet with the Chief Justice, the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Minister of Justice and the General Director of the Police Forces.
He will also visit the Complex of Khartoum Prosecutions and the Taxation Chamber.
