President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received congratulatory cables on the occasion of Eid al-Adha from Heads of State of a number of Arab and Muslim countries.

The cables were sent by Qaboos bin Said Al Sai, Sultan of Oman; Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait; King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain; King Abdullah II of Jordan; President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt; President Omar Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir of Sudan; President Abdelaziz Bouteflika of Algeria; President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan; President Emomali Rahmonov of of Tajikistan; President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow of Turkmenistan; Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers of Oman; Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait; Masoud Barzani, President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region; Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of Afghanistan; and Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
