Public prosecutor Nabil Ahmed Sadek referred the killer of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) CEO Niveen Ibrahim Mahmoud Lotfi to the Criminal Court.
Karim Saber Abdel Aati Abdel Rehim will be referred to emergency trial over murder associated with theft and taking drugs.
Security bodies of Giza Security Directorate had found the body of Lotfi in her home at a compound in 6th of October city.
One day after the incident, the bodies arrested the suspect who used to work as a security guard in the compound where Lotfi resided, before leaving his job a couple of months ago.
The suspect, who has been accused in 10 arms and drug possessions cases, was fired from his work for misconduct and taking drugs.
Attempting to mislead the police, Abdel Rehim went to one of the drug treatment centers over fear of being arrested.
Investigations revealed that the suspect entered Loutfi's villa through the kitchen's window and found her awake in her bedroom, leading to an altercation with the man, who stabbed her several times.
