Qatari Nasra Mohamed Mahmoud won the bronze medal for women’s single 25-metre pistol competition in the shooting contest of the 12th Arab Games currently under way in Doha. The gold medal of the competition, held at Lusail Shooting Complex, was won by Tunisian Olfa Cherni who expressed her great pleasure for winning the gold medal saying that she faced a strong competition from the UAE Somayya Al-Shaya which came in second place. In a statement after the competition she hoped that she would win a large number of medals in future competitions to raise the position of Tunisia in the overall standings of medals, which is currently spearheaded by Egypt. The 12th Arab Games, which kicked off last Friday and will continue until the 23rd of December.
