The preparation for the conference is an achievement per se for the Egyptian youth, they added.

The preparation for the conference included assigning groups for ushering the guests and participants and other groups for outlining research papers on issues of interest to the society along with groups for assessing the quality of these research papers.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi announced launching the activities of the first National Youth Conference.

He noted that the conference will be officially held on annual basis at this time.

The president also asked the participants to stand in a minute of silence in mourning of the martyrs of Egypt who fell victim to terrorism for the sake of the country.

The national anthem was played and the president left the conference hall.
