US President-elect Donald Trump will move the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to the Occupied Jerusalem shortly after he takes office.
Trump told Israeli Hebrew newspaper (Yisrael Hume) that he would not break his promise to Israel about Jerusalem.
For its part, Israeli political sources in the Occupied Jerusalem suggested in a statement to the official Hebrew radio that the transfer of the US embassy may be announced next week.
They also said that a US team has already scouted sites in Jerusalem for the new building.
The presidential inauguration of Donald Trump will take place on Friday.
