A delegation of Republican members of the US Senate, under Senator James Risch, the Head of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations' Subcommittee on Near East, South Asia, Central Asia, and Counterterrorism, wrapped up on Tuesday a visit to Egypt.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi had a meeting with the US Congressmen on the sidelines of celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Egyptian parliament that was held in Sharm el Sheikh city.
The meeting was also attended by Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and US Ambassador in Cairo Stephen Beecroft.
The meeting took up regional crises, the latest internal developments and ongoing efforts to continue the economic development process and maintain peace and stability and fight terrorism.
