President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi of the Republic of Yemen met with the visiting UN Emergency Relief Coordinator, Stephen O'Brien, in Aden yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of bilateral relations and ways to promote UN involvement, in humanitarian relief affairs, across the country.
President Hadi also urged the UN agencies as well as other humanitarian organisations to pay field visits to review facilities provided by the government in all seaports and outlets through which aid arrives in Yemen.
The UN official hailed stable conditions in Aden, announcing that the UN will launch a wide-scale humanitarian campaign on 25th April to assist Yemen and to provide it with more relief aid, in order to meet the basic needs of food, water and medicine for the needy.
The meeting was attended by the Yemeni Premier, Ahmed Obaid bin Dagher.
