The Ministry of Health and Prevention has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NewBridge Pharmaceuticals and Axios Gulf Companies, to launch an initiativefor the treatment of patients with rheumatoid who are not covered by health insurance, or a primary insurance that does not cover free treatment of this disease.
The MoU was signed at the ministry in Dubai by Dr. Amin Hussein Al Amiri, Assistant Under-Secretary for Public Policy and Licensing Sector of the UAE's Ministry of Health and Prevention, and Dr. Joseph Hanein, CEO of NewBridge Pharmaceuticals, and Dr. Anas Nofal, Regional Operations Manager at Axios Gulf.
Dr. Al Amiri said that the signing of the MoU with the two companies is a humanitarian and medical initiative that implements the strategy of the ministry to improve health services and scientific research, in accordance with the best international practices.
