The Saudi Ministry of Health confirmed that there have been no recorded cases of epidemics or quarantine diseases among pilgrims so far, indicating that the health situation is reassuring.
According to Saudi Press Agency, SPA, the ministry pointed to the successful preventive measures taken at health check points for pilgrims abroad in concerted cooperation between Saudi diplomatic missions on one hand and foreign Hajj authorities, as well as regional and international concerned organisations, including the World Health Organisation and other international disease control centers.
