The Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has temporarily banned the import of live birds from Spain after receiving a warning bulletin issued by the World Organisation for Animal Health on the outbreak of high virulent avian influenza.
According to Saudi Press Agency the ministry has directed animal quarantines at the Kingdom's ports and relevant government agencies to take necessary precautions.
