Egyptian actor Bassem Samra revealed that he ended filming the scenes of "International" series. In the series, Samra plays the role of Saleh, who has his own ambition and dreams and trying hard to support his brothers, and works as a driver of large trucks.
Samra expressed, in statements for Arabs Today, his pleasure for this work, because it discusses the problem faces the Egyptian family, which is the departure of brothers and some may seek to achieve their dreams in illegal ways. He pointed out that the exit of the work from Ramadan race does not mean that it is weak, but the series has been marketed to more than a satellite channel, but these channels were exposed to a financial crisis made them postpone the series either for the next period or to next Ramadan.
Regarding his participation in one work, Samra revealed that one of the terms in his contract with director Mohammed Fawzi to participate only in this work. Regarding his injuries during filming the work, he confirmed that he treated of the minor injuries which occurred while filming the scenes of the chase on the international road.
"I was trained for three months to drive large trucks to show that I am an experienced driver, although I initially feared driving large vehicles and on a highway, but over time I got used to them," Samra said.
He stresses that he watched the series presented in Ramadan, praising the performance of actor Ahmed al-Sakka in "The Black Horse" series, and role of Amir Krara in "Kalabsh". He also pointed out that he is thinking about turning the movie "Escape" into a television series.
As for the nature of historical or personal roles that he wishes to present in the drama, he stressed that he wishes to present a historical figure such as "Ahmose" or any of the historical figures that had an influence in the rule of Egypt.
Regarding his participation in "Antra Ebn Shaddad" film, he said: "I participated in the film with actor Mohamed Heneidy and presented the role of his brother Said Al Ahmar, a comedy fantasy film, and that the film has achieved good revenues."
Regarding his appearence as a guest of honor in "Forced Escape" with actor Ahmed al-Sakka, he said that Sakka is his friend and he can not refuse any of his orders, expressing his pleasure for appearing in this film with a group of Egyptian superstars.
