Johnny Depp took time away from the Pirates of the Caribbean 5 set to visit sick kids in a Brisbane hospital.
Depp who is in Australia currently shooting Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales, took a surprise trip to Brisbane's Lady Cilento Children's Hospital dressed as the famous pirate.
USA Today reports Depp and his co-star, Stephen Graham, spent three hours in the hospital visiting children in rooms and rehabilitation areas. Depp even took time to participate in Juiced TV, a TV show created by and for the children in the hospital.
Depp and Graham not only visited but also took photos with the kids and videos, but also entertained and gave out "gold" coins to the kids.
ABC News Australia reported that Depp showed up in a helicopter in what was supposed to be a private visit where parents were not supposed to take photos or videos.
Many of the photos show Depp laughing and playing with the children.The actor asked not to be rushed along and was able to spend as much time as he could with the kids, even circling rooms a second time.
The hospital foundation posted to Facebook a thank you to the stars for coming by and spending time with the kids, stating they were "making a real difference for sick kids and their families in hospital"
