Egyptian actress Engy Al Moqadem expressed her pleasure for the success of drama shows in which she participated during the latest drama season of Ramadan, including “Not to Extinguish the Sun” and “30 Days”. She added that she received positive reactions from fans about her roles in the two TV drama shows.
She added, during an interview with “Muslimchronicle”, that her TV drama show was a turning point in her career as an actress, saying that it managed to achieve high popularity among Arab fans in all over the Arab world since its first episode. She stressed that the TV drama show succeeded to attract the attention of the fans since its beginning, saying what attracted her to participate in this show is its different nature from the other works presented during the season.
She was keen to meet with a number of Psychiatrists to discuss the nature of the character that she performed during the series, saying that she was keen to deliver each detail of the character to the audience.
Regarding her participation in “Not to Extinguish the Sun”, she said that she accepted to participate in the series despite the short role she performed because of its good scenario. She stressed that she cannot refuse good scenarios. She praised the experience to work with high-profile actress Mervat Amein.
She revealed that she received an offer to participate in the TV drama show “This Night”, saying that she refused it as she was preoccupied in filming the two other shows. She added that she participates currently in a new film “Goos Hindi” in which she performs a role of a TV correspondent with superstar ustafa Shabaan.
She expressed her pleasure for her previous experience to work as a TV presenter, saying that it is a good opportunity to enrich her career during the current period, while she denied what was published over presenting new talk shows during the current period. She said that she gives priority to her career as an actress during the current period.
