Lebanese singer Fadl Shaker Beirut - Suleiman Asfhani Lebanese singer Fadl Shaker revealed to Arabstoday that he's decide to retire from singing. He said he will stop singing in festivals or any other events, because God showed him the right path, according to him. The singer said that everything should have an end. He explained his decision saying that previous singers did not get any benefit in carrying on until their deaths, and that he should learn the lesson from their mistakes. He added: "I don't want to miss out on afterlife, my repentance is real and comes from my heart." Fadl refused many offers to sing in festivals and concerts this summer. He sang in a festival in Morocco, where he openly criticised Bashar al-Assad's regime. He is now in Saida, South Lebanon, where he own a restaurant named “Alhan” after his daughter.
