Egyptian singer Ghada Ragab Cairo - Taha Hafiz Egyptian singer Ghada Ragab tolf Arabstoday in an interview that “Turkish soap operas invaded Arab television screens years ago, and achieved great success, I wasn\'t against it but welcomed it, as Arabs also start dubbing their shows in Turkish.\" \"I consider it a cultural exchange between Arabs and Turks, so I decided to invade Turkey in return by singing in their homeland!\" she said. Ghada stated: “I finished recording my album entitled \'Sorty\' (My Photo) and have six songs. It will be released in two versions, the first in Arabic with some parts in Turkish, and the second will be all in Turkish.\" The album will be launched in Turkey and some European countries. Ghada said she worked in both versions with Turkish composers and music distributors, except for one song in which she collaborated with producer Mohamed Mostafa. \"The Egyptian songs were written by Bahaa el-Din Mohamed and Hany Abdel Karim. I filmed two songs in Turkey with Turkish directors, and also collaborated with Turkish singers who sang with me,” she said. Whether she found it difficult to sing in Turkish, she said: “I learned it quickly and it didn’t take time because I have been following Turkish shows for some time and I really liked them. I learned Turkish because I love it.” The singer explained why she did not launch her album during the Eid al-Fitr holiday as earlier planned, saying: “The album will be launched very soon, and actually, yes, it was supposed to be launched in Eid al-Fitr, but we preferred to postpone it until we finished filming the video for \'Awy Awy\' (Very Much). It was directed by Sandra Nashaat and will be aired the same time the album is launched”. “I worked very hard on this album, and I hope that my efforts and every one I cooperated with will find success. I was so happy when my song \'Sorty\' with international Turkish musician Hasno got so many awards,” she added. Ghada performed in the second Song Festival in Turkey, and sang “Gawaz Safar” (A Passport), a Turkish composition, and got the special “Vidov” award for it.
