Actress Maies Hamadan revealed that she ended filming over 30 percent of her role in the new TV drama show “Spotlight” scheduled to be presented during the coming Ramadan. She added that she will resume filming her role after the celebration of Spring Day on Monday.
She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that she is lucky for participating in this series, expressing her optimism over her new TV drama show “Spotlight”, saying that her role will be a surprise for the fans. She revealed that she performs a role of mother in the new series scheduled to be presented during the coming Ramadan.
She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that she likes to perform different roles, saying that such role could be a turning point in her career as an actress. She added that she does not mind to present any role, stressing her keenness to diversify her roles and to appear in different images during her works.
She stressed that her role in the new drama show “Spotlight” is different from any roles she performed previously. She added that she was aspiring to perform the roles of action to enrich her career.
She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that what attracted her to the role is its difference from her previous roles, stressing her keenness to diversify her roles. She expressed her hope that the new series will achieve success during its presentation in the coming Ramadan.
She revealed that she performs a role that will raise a state of confusion among the fans, saying that she will perform the role of wife of the leading character performed by Egyptian superstar Hany Salama who works as a paid murderer. She added that he kills a number of persons to serve the interests of a number of businesspersons, clarifying that she did not know his job in the beginning of her life with him, while she knows later.
She pointed out that she will participate in a new series entitled “Foxes in the Valley”, while it filming has been delayed, saying that it will discuss a number of issues related to the life in Upper Egypt. She revealed also that she will participate in another series preliminarily entitled “Withdrawal” scheduled to be filmed after Ramadan.
She lamented her luck with cinema, saying that she received a number of offers, while there is no offer attracted her. She praised her work in drama, stressing that she is proud of the works in which she participated during the recent period.
