Moroccan actress Lobna Abidar revealed that she suffers from Throat Cancer, saying that she discovered the matter accidentally. She added that her reaction was normal, saying that I used to face such problems easily. She added that she felt the need for returning to her country Morocco as soon as possible.
She added that she decided to leave her country and to live in France after the latest controversy witnessed in the country over a number of scenes of her film “Al-Zein Elli Feek”. She said that she was indirectly expelled from her country after the film that raised controversy among the Moroccan people. She revealed that she chose to live in France due to the increasing number of friends living there.
She added that her suffering from cancer is not related to the increasing criticism she faced after the latest film, expressing her respect to the fans. She added, “I do not call them fans but lovers. I share success and failure with them. They are the most important supporters from me during the current critical period in my life.”
She denied what was published that she launched rumors related to her suffering from cancer, saying that I do not care about what was published in this regard. She added, “I do not need to gain the sympathy of anyone. I have my own fans who always express their love and respect to me.”
She added that she aspires to return to live in her country as soon as possible, saying that she spent a large number of years outside her country. She said that she lived four years in Brazil after her marriage, while she was at 16. She stressed that she plans to return to live in her country after retirement from her career.
She revealed that she works currently as a manager in a production company in France, saying that she prepares for a surprise for her fans during the coming period in coincidence with her birthday scheduled to be on September 20. She refused to give any further details over her surprise to her fans.
