Egyptian actress Reem Al Baroodi expressed her pleasure for her participation in the new film “My Wife’s Fiancée”, saying that the new film carries strong social message with a comic framework.
She added, in a statement to “Muslimcronicle”, that the character she performs in the film is existed in the Egyptian community, saying that she performs a role of a reckless girl who loves social media networks. A number of superstars will participate in the film, including Ahmed Saad and Ehab Fahmy.
She stressed that thr film was planned to be presented months ago, while it was delayed, as most of the artists participating in the movie were extremely preoccupied in filming their drama works that were presented during the latest drama season of Ramadan. She revealed that she ended the filming of her role in the film that is scheduled to be presented in the near future.
She added that she aspires to the presentation of her new TV drama show “The International” to know the opinion of her fans, saying that she performs a role of a girl living in one of Cairo’s poor districts.
She blamed the lack of good and attracting scenarios for the lack of her participation in cinematic works during the recent period. She said that she received a large number of offers to participate in cinema, while the scenarios she received were not suitable for her. She praised her participation in “My wife’s fiancée”, saying that it was good experience.
She stressed that she is keen to choose her works carefully to meet the expectations of her fans in all over the Arab world, saying that she chooses the roles that enrich her career not to undermine her career as an actress. She stressed that she does not give priority to the length of her role while to the story which the work presents.
She added that the name of producing company is one of the major standard upon which she depends to choose her works, saying that she received offers before to participate in good works, while she refused to take them because of the name of the producing company that refuses to pay for the works.
