Father of Lebanese singer Suzanne Tamim expressed his refusal to give any comment to the decision to release Egyptian businessperson Hisham Talat Mustafa accused of killing his daughter in 2008. He stressed that the right of his daughter is in heaven, as the justice of earth abandoned her rights.
He said, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that Suzanne has not harmed anyone during her life, while many people harmed her after her death. He said, “I will not give any comment to the issue of the decision to release her killer, while I am confident that God will restore her right.”
The singer was murdered in her apartment in Jumeirah Beach Residence on July 28, 2008. The police found her body later that evening, several hours after the incident was reported. The singer was found fully dressed and ready to leave the house. The murderer had managed to pass through the building's security without being asked for identification.
