Egyptian actress Yasmine Raeis revealed the reason behind her absence from TV drama shows during the coming Ramadan, saying that she is preoccupied in a filming a number of new movies. She added that she gives priority to the cinematic works at the expense of any other drama works. She added that she received a number of offers to participate in drama shows scheduled to be presented during the coming Ramadan, while she refused all of them.
She denied, in an interview with “Arabs Today”, that she met with the staff of new film “People of Shame”, adding that they will start working on it after Eid Al Fitr. She refused to give any details about the new film, saying that it will be surprise for the fans, as she will present a new and different role.
She praised her participation in the short film entitled “A Week and Two Days”, saying that it participated in a number of festivals despite the state of controversy that it raised during the recent period. She said, “I am happy for participating in more than a cinema festival. I extremely love these experiences, as they perform a major role to deliver my works to the people. The film was discussing one of the serious issues that have not been discussed before.”
She expressed her appreciation for the role performed by her husband, saying that he supports her to push her forward in her career. She stressed that he is keen not to interfere in her work, while she sometimes turns to consult him in the works in which she participates to benefit from his experience.
She expressed her pleasure for the steps she took in her career since its beginning, adding that she managed to achieve notable success during the recent few years. She expressed her aspiration to meet the expectations of her fans.
