Things get a little heavy in the first trailer for the forthcoming Backstreet Boys documentary.
A first look at the film, Show Em What You're Made Of, was released Wednesday by Gravitas Ventures film distribution company.
Nick, Howie, Brian, AJ and Kevin "share their lives with us and relive their journey together, revealing new and old tensions that need confronting and resolving," a release on the documentary says.
The trailer opens on an uplifting note, detailing the rise to fame to five youngsters enjoyed in the early 1990s in Europe. Their explosion in popularity moved across the pond, but by time the early 2000s hit, everything was over.
"And what do you do when you're a full grown man in a boy band?" Litrell questions.
The film also documents the band's recent reunion and tour.
Show Em What You're Made Of is set to hit theaters and video on demand on Jan. 30.
