M’SILA- A documentary-film on the National Liberation War in the province of M’sila entitled “Lamasset min El Tarikh (extracts from history) was recently produced at the initiative of Mechaal El chahid association, president of the association’s office in M’sila announced on Sunday. The film was produced in five places of memory of the National Liberation War 1954-1962, mainly the Djorf and Sed Leksob torture camps where the Revolution’s Mujahideen were jailed and tortured by French colonialist forces, Khedri Abdelkrim told APS. The film’s other shooting sites are located in the regions where several bloody battles conducted by the National Liberation Army (ALN) against the colonial army took place throughout the Hodna region, he added. Besides, the film relates the role of Algerian women in this region during the Revolution in addition to the war severely disabled people injured among the ALN’s ranks. Moreover, Khedri stressed that the film represents an appeal to the Ministry of Mujahideen to protect theses memory sites, like Djorf and Sed Leksob who are completely abandoned.
