The men [B - 30yrs; C - 35yrs; and D - 40yrs] were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson. They remain in police custody at this time.
Whilst formal identification is yet to take place, we are satisfied that Sherif Adel Makar Habib (19.07.94) a duel British and Egyptian national from Acton died as a result of the fire on Monday, 25 April.
A post mortem examination took place at Uxbridge Mortuary on Wednesday, 27 April, and gave the initial cause of his death as severe burns.
Police were called at approximately 00:55hrs on Monday, 25 April to reports of a fire at an outbuilding located at the rear of a residential address in Cranleigh Gardens, Southall.
Police, the London Fire Brigade and the London Ambulance Service attended.
Sherif Adel Makar Habib was rescued from the fire by the London Fire Brigade. He was taken to a specialist burns hospital in Essex by the London Ambulance Service., where he was later pronounced dead.
Mr Habib's next of kin are being supported by a specially trained Family Liaison Officer (FLO) from the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS).
At this stage in the investigation Mr Habib's death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances.
Detective Inspector Janet Livesey, Ealing Police CID, said: "I would like to appeal to anyone with any information, or indeed anyone who witnessed the fire to come forward and speak to the police in confidence."
A 22-year-old man [A] was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life. He has been bailed to a date in mid-June pending further enquiries.
