At least 30 Taliban militants were killed in an accidental blast in Afghanistan's western province of Farah, Afghan Press Agency reported on Friday.
The agency said two explosive belts exploded when gunmen gathered, in an area in Afghanistan's Farah state, to discuss their plan to launch attacks on security forces.
"A number of field commanders of the movement was killed during the attack," the agency said.
In recent months, Afghanistan witnessed a deterioration in the security situation, where Taliban movement launched an attack on major cities in the country, as well as ISIS terrorist organization strengthening its influence there.
