The Director General of the Algerian security, Abdelghani Hamel, stressed in a letter of thanks sent to various Algerian media institutions, the readiness of the Algerian security to secure the country from any extremist attacks.
Hamel said that police officers are ready to provide more security services, saying that security and peace enjoyed by citizens that has been achieved thanks to the guidance of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
He added the extremist attack, which was thwarted in Constantine, Algeria's eastern province indicates the level of efficiency of the Algerian security.
Algerian security thwarted a suicide attack targeted a police station in Constantine, east of the country, which resulted in many injured and the killing of the bomber.
Security forces sent major security reinforcements after the bombing, which took place near the security station in Bab al-Qantara
