The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has distributed winter aid supplies to about 35 families of Syrian refugees living in 'random' tents in the Al Halabat area in Zarqa, Jordan.
ERC Secretary-General Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi said that the organisation is providing through its annual winter assistance programme relief supplies, which includes food and warm clothes, to refugees during the cold months.
Al Falahi also extended thanks to the Jordanian Government for facilitating the UAE relief team efforts in reaching refugees in the country.
