France has stressed its firm position regarding Iran's dossier, and its abidance by the implementation of the nuclear deal by all parties, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The statement affirmed that Iran should fully comply with UN Security Council Resolution 2231, and that the issue be addressed within a firm and productive dialogue, Kuwait News Agency reported.
“We note with concern Iran’s activity in the region and the continuation of its ballistic missile programme. President Macron and the minister for Europe and foreign affairs have repeated this on several occasions.”
In this context, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian will soon visit Iran.
France "aims to de-escalate tensions in order to resolve crises in the region,” the statement added.
