The second round of mutual dialogue about fighting extremism and sharing intelligence information between Algeria and United states kicks off Thursday in Washington . Algerian Minister of Maghreb Affairs , Abdelkader Messahel leads the Algerian delegation that will participate in this dialogue .
The discussions address Daesh and Al-Qaeda threats in Morocco ,and the newly born extremist organization that goes by the name “Supporters of Islam and Muslims” ,located North of Mali ,on the Algerian borders .
The leader of this group which is combined of several other extremist groups came together under one name ,announced that their enemies are , France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Chad, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Senegal and Niger.
During an interview with Al-Masry Newspaper issued by Al-Qaeda in Yemen ,a military spokesman said that his troops will be deployed everywhere to drain the enemy . On the other hand ,Algeria and Us finally increased their cooperation in Intelligence security field to fight extremists who became a national security threat.
The Algerian authorities published two lists with the names of more than 1000 suspects in connection with terrorist groups on the website of Washington Institution, currently living on American and European soils .
Expert on strategic and security affairs, Hakim Gharib ,who did the report ,said that the Algerian government offered its cooperation in intelligence security field in exchange of handing over the wanted Algerian extremists .This institution also praised the Algerian methods in fighting terrorism ,which made its expertise wanted in foreign countries including the US.
The report also stated that the cooperation with Algeria will extend also to find peaceful solutions to the political disputes in the region especially in Mali and Libya under the umbrella of Washington and the international community.
