At the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister during the Government Forum2017 recently held under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, with the initiative of HRH the Crown Prince, to hold workshops to come up with proper mechanisms and definite priorities that constitute the government futuristic aspirations; Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa chairman of both ministerial committees on "construction, infrastructure", and "fiscal affairs and expenditure controls" announced the approval of 9 policies, 32 initiatives to be implemented in more than 250 proposed projects, which generally and initially form the government’s futuristic aspirations on the financial, economic and infrastructure themes.
The deputy Premier today chaired the workshop on the financial, economic and infrastructure themes, attended by the ministers who are members of both committees and more than 100 government officials.
In his speech at the meeting, the Deputy Premier said that "Our meeting today mirrors the patronage and care of the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to the welfare and dignified living of the Bahraini citizens being the focus of sustainable development in all fields.
