Saudi Crown, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saudi today met King Abdulla Abdullah II of Jordan. The two sides discussed latest developments in the Middle East, including the US decision to recognize Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of Israel and to relocate US embassy to the city and the serious and passive fallouts of the decision, which represents a huge setback for peace efforts.
They affirmed the historically well-established and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, in Al-Quds and other occupied territories, guaranteed by relevant international resolutions. They also held cordial talks related to bilateral relations, focusing on promising opportunities for development, in all aspects, including joint efforts to combat terrorism.
