Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held at his palace in Riyadh today an official discussion session with Jordanian Monarch King Abdullah II. They reviewed the overall regional developments, mainly those pertaining to Jerusalem and the grave repercussions of the US decision to recognise it as capital of Israel and to shift its embassy to it, which will further complicate the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and affect regional security and stability.
Both leaders underlined the need to coordinate Arab, Islamic and international efforts to protect the historic and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people in Jerusalem and the importance of working out a just and permanent solution to the Palestinian issue according to relevant international resolutions and the Arab peace initiative.
Both leaders also reviewed bilateral relations and ways of bolstering them as well as coordinating counter-terrorism efforts.
