Assistant Undersecretary for Legal Affairs, Major-General Mohammed Rashid Buhamood inaugurated the third training course for the Interior Ministry’s judges.
Organised by the Courts Directorate in cooperation with the Judiciary and Legal Studies Institute of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, the course attracts judges and officials in courts affairs in the Ministry of Interior and National Guard.
The Assistant Undersecretary hailed in a speech the course that is part of the directives of the Interior Minister, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to enhance the skills and competency of judges.
He said that the ministry had achieved remarkable accomplishment in the judicial independence, as judges are not given other assignments expect their main tasks of reviewing cases and provided with training to enhance their skills.
He expressed thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowment, the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute and the Public Judiciary for their contributions to the success of the course. He wished the participants all the best.
