On the sidelines of his attendance of the British Conservative Party’s Conference, currently held here, Bahrain’s Ambassador to the UK, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, hosted, along with the Cultural Attaché in Manchester, a dinner banquet in honour of Bahraini students studying at British universities .
Held at the Cultural Office here, the banquet came in light of the visits of the ambassador and cultural attaché to be assured about the academic and living conditions of students as well as their needs.
During the dinner, a number of students were honoured by the Ambassador for their continuous interaction and cooperation with the various activities and events held by the Embassy and cultural office.
Fahad Khalifa Al Ahmad, Najeeba Abdullah Al Zaimour, Lina Mohammed Khunji, Yousuf Abdullah Al Kaabi and Ahmed Jalil al-Qusair. Saeed Khalid Al-Bin Ali, Ali Najm Al-Msaifer, were also honored on the occasion of their graduation from the university and obtaining their master's degree.
The ambassador affirmed his pride in the ambition and achievements of Bahrainis studying abroad and the scientific and academic levels reached by the Bahraini students in the UK.
The Bahraini students in the United Kingdom expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude for the support and follow-up of the ambassador, which, they said, motivates them to achieve their educational and academic goals and contribute to the development of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
