A coalition helicopter was forced to perform an emergency landing in Yemen after a technical fault which led to minor injuries of the unit’s crew, a spokesperson confirmed to Al Arabiya News Channel.
Spokesperson for the coalition fighting to restore legitimacy in Yemen, Turki al-Maliki, said that one of the combat helicopters of the alliance suffered a technical defect while returning from am inland mission inside Yemeni territories.
This then forced the unit’s crew to perform an emergency landing in one of the areas under the control of the legitimate Yemeni government of Yemen and resulted in minor injuries.
