UAE’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash has said that Iran and its proxy group Hezbollah are the main perpetrators of undermining the region’s stability.
“Iran’s proxy, Hezbollah, playing an outsize role in undermining regional stability. Hezbollah actions & rhetoric a major source of instability in the Arab world,” Gargash tweeted on Monday.
His comments come a day after the Arab League held an extraordinary summit where most of the 22 member states condemned Iran’s Lebanese ally, Hezbollah, as a “terrorist organization.”

“Important Arab League resolution condemns Iran’s destabilizing regional policies. Iran’s offensive missile program denounced & Hezbollah’s terrorist nature censured,” Gargash said.
“Iran’s missile program with its offensive nature emerging as disruptive tool undermining the region’s instability. Repeated targeting of Saudi civilian facilities attest to this,” he added.
