The movements of Russian troops inside the country are not referred to public issues, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday as he declined to comment on media reports on the reinforcement of Russia's military presence on the border with North Korea, TASS news agency reported.
"The issues of troops' deployment and re-deployment are not referred to the category of public issues," the Kremlin spokesman said.
Peskov added that "any country responds to changes in the international situation in building its own security." U.K. newspaper Daily Mail had reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent Russian troops and equipment to the borders with North Korea.
