The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is taking part in the Dubai Government Achievements Exhibition (DGAE), organised by the Dubai government Excellence Programme and is held under the theme: "Local Governments, Global Achievements".
Ahmed Alham Al Dhaheri, Assistant Under-Secretary for Consular Affairs, said the ministry's participation in the DGAE emanated from its keenness to boost the UAE's international image as a country that cares for its citizens and in line with the ministry's vision to become a pioneering model for active diplomacy and excellence.
The ministry's stand at the DGAE showcases the best practices it follows and highlights the major services offered to the UAE citizens, including 'Tawajudi' (My whereabouts) service which facilitates communication between the Emiratis abroad and the country's missions.
Other services highlighted include visa centres abroad, patented e-authientication system, and emergency passport services for citizens who misplace their passports abroad.
