The relations of cooperation between Tunisia and France and the possibilities of further expanding them, in particular with the Region of Normandy were at the centre of Thursday’s meeting between Minister Development, Investment and International Co-operation Mohamed Fadhel Abdelkefi with the President of the Normandy Region and former French Minister of Defense Hervé Morin.
Morin who is currently visiting Tunisia, heading a delegation of institutional investors and business leaders of this region noted that a great investment potential exists between the two countries that deserves to be better used for mutual benefit.
He also stressed the need to increase the number of meetings between Tunisian and Normandy SMEs in order to identify opportunities for partnerships in different sectors such as innovation and research, environment, digital and agri-food.
For his part, Abdelkefi emphasised the competitiveness of the Tunisian site, in the Mediterranean and African spaces, which makes Tunisia a favourable place for profitable investments and fruitful partnerships.
