Tunis's Tunisair airline suspended on Thursday all its flights from Tunisia until further notice, due to an internal conflict between two of its departments.
The dispute began over a week ago, as a result of a decision to unify aircrew and ground crew uniforms.
The conflict intensified and became violent on Thursday with altercations between flight crew and a technicians' team just before a flight's take-off to Paris, a source from Tunisair airline informed Xinhua at Tunis's Carthage airport.
Tunisian Minister of Transport Anis Ghedir ordered the establishment of a crisis committee, upon his arrival at Tunis's Carthage airport to chair an emergency meeting between both parties.
Furthermore, security personnel were dispatched to Tunis's Carthage airport following Tunisair's suspended airline activity.
