Dr. Mohamed Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador to Kazakhstan, and Magzum Mirzagaliyev, Deputy Energy Minister of Kazakhstan, have met to discuss existing cooperation relations between the two countries.
The officials also reviewed a number of issues related to developing cooperation in the fields of electric power, renewable energy, green economy and petrochemical industry, during a meeting at the Ministry of Energy in Astana.
Mirzagaliyev expressed his country's interest to benefit from the UAE's experience in the renewable energy field through working with Masdar and the International Renewable Energy Agency.
The Kazakh official also briefed the UAE Ambassador on the energy projects underway in his country.
Al Jaber said that the UAE is interested in developing cooperation with Kazakhstan in various fields, reiterating the UAE leadership's keenness to promote its mutual friendship and partnership with the country.
