Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni discussed ways to re-energize peace process in Sudan and Darfur particularly with two Sudanese leaders of armed groups, Sudan Tribune reported.
Museveni has facilitated informal meetings in Kampala and Addis Ababa between the Sudanese government, the Sudan Liberation Movement-Minni Minnawi (SLM-MM) and Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) leaders.
In their meeting with President Museveni, the two leaders stressed that the implementation of the African Union Roadmap Agreement is the way to reinvigorate the peace process and achieve a comprehensive political settlement.
