At least five Palestinians were killed and others were injured Saturday after Israel shelled a mosque in al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza Strip.
According to the spokesman of the Palestinian Health Ministry Ashraf al-Qudra, medical crews pulled three bodies from rubble of the Al-Qassam mosque in al-Nuseirat refugee camp.
“Medical crews are still searching for bodies still buried under the rubble, al-Qudra said, adding that another Palestinian was seriously injured by an Israeli airstrike on a field east of Khan Younis.
Two people were also killed in a strike that “targeted a motorbike in the al-Maghazi camp”, spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said.
Since the early morning hours, Israeli warplanes continued shelling Gaza strip destroying houses, properties and agricultural lands in different parts of the enclave.
