Israeli occupation soldiers arrested a Palestinian parliamentarian from a village outside Hebron early Thursday morning, the Israeli army said.
Samira Halayka was picked up by the Israel Defense Forces from her home in al-Shuyukh, northeast of Hebron, as part of a series of overnight raids across the West Bank, Halayka is the latest MP to be arrested by the IOF in recent days. On Monday, two other members of the Palestinian Parliament Anwar Zabun and Khaled Tafesh were arrested, along with Ghassan Hermas, a professor at al-Quds University in nearby Abu Dis.
